Just finished SP # 3328 in 1.6” scale. SPECS: 91” long coupler to coupler. The deck width is 16 5/8” to the outer handrails with a height of 23” to the top of the cab excluding the horn. Weight is estimated at around 650 lbs… Die cast steel sealed bearing journal boxes are now standard. A scale 2/56 nut package, steel lift rings and a cast aluminum dynamic brake blister with 48” fan completes the all steel model…

Our 1" GP-20 with High Cube boxcar train consist was built for an interactive visual art install for Josephine Pryde and was nominated in the UK for the Turner prize last year. Our train was run by hundreds of people unfamiliar with the hobby at various gallerys across the U.S. Two to three people can ride comfortably on the Hi-Cube boxcars shown above. Looks like the engineer is having fun!
